Our Story: From a Voice Over Company to a Voice and Multimedia Solutions Platform

When Voices & Media Solutions was founded, professional voice over meant studio, microphone, voice talent and magnetic tape. The process was slow, expensive and geographically constrained. Clients had few options, and voice professionals were a small group with access to specialised equipment.
Over 23 years, everything changed. Digital recording democratised access to the studio. The internet opened up international markets. Content platforms multiplied demand for voice over in dozens of languages. And artificial intelligence began transforming how voice is produced, replicated and distributed. VMS followed each of these shifts — not as a bystander, but as an active participant in the evolution of the market.
This journey gave us something that cannot be built quickly: a deep understanding of what makes a voice work in a given context, of the technical demands of each medium, of the cultural nuances that determine whether a voice over connects or alienates. This knowledge underpins everything we do today, including the AI voice solutions we have developed.
